Can you please add the ID Type “Material Name” too? It would be great.

We also want to integrate cryptomatte into our workflow, but impossible without this feature. can you tell us if this will be integrated?

Hello,
all objects that use the same material create a single cryptomatte selection.
The cryptomatte is build by material names used in the scene.
You can pick selections by material.

Yes this is highly necessary! We do professional archviz. We exclusively select by materialtype in postpro! Please add this feature in CR9. THX!!
Corona 9 is already feature frozen, due for release in 2 weeks; it will be impossible to add this (or any other new feature) to 9, but it can be considered for a future version. Just to manage expectations
