It’s faster to parse and gives a better quality result (more accurate lighting etc). When it doesn’t work - which is only in very rare cases - you may get things like square artifacts. It’s ok to use so long as you don’t see any odd artifacts in the render
What exactly do you mean by better quality?
It should be less biased, meaning that the lighting should be more similar to what would happen in real life.
