Hi there. Well, you are using a sphere as a preview model. Therefore, no corners to preview on 
Try changing it to another model by right-clicking on the preview window. I hope that helps.

Currently, this doesn’t seem possible unless you have IR or to use the thumbnail preview window as mentioned above.
