Custom Assets not showing in Custom Asset Library?

Hello,

I am trying to create a new custom asset. Everytime I go through the process and export the asset it states that it is successful, however, the assets does not show in my custom asset library. I am not sure whether it is something to do with my source and output directory but I am also not sure how to fix it? After the asset has exported successfully, I go to the asset library and get the error message ‘SourceDirectory does not exist’.

Hi @Yaroslava_1 , thanks a lot for your post.

Regarding the error message itself, please right away feel free to make sure that you follow / have followed all the steps regarding how to create a custom asset alongside some tips and additional information: https://learn.enscape3d.com/blog/knowledgebase/custom-asset-lib-2/

Especially when you reach the part titled “Configuration of Custom Asset Editor” you can ensure that you followed these instructions properly too as doing so may already resolve this.

If that makes no difference, please submit a dedicated support report (including logs) as detailed here instead:

In general, whenever you experience any issues with Enscape, including receiving error messages, ideally reach out to us this way in the future directly as doing so transfers all the corresponding log files, machine information and so forth which helps our support team immensely when it comes to further troubleshooting.

Thank you once more in advance for your cooperation!
