hi

when I create a custom 3d asset it shows as a box in the Revit viewport

Is there any way custom 3d assets show the same as escape assets?

And the next question, is there any way 3d assets look like the Revit family?

  1. You need to create a proper thumbnail preview of your custom asset.

  2. Have you tried linking the Enscape asset to a Revit family?

  • In the lower right corner of the Asset select “Link Revit Family to Asset”

  • In the next dialog, select the Revit Family and Type to link to the Enscape asset

When you place the Revit Family/Type in Revit the Enscape asset will appear in Enscape.

how can I create a thumbnail for the 3d model?

I want when I make a custom 3d asset in escape I see the real shape of this 3d model, not a box

is there any tutorial fixing this?
