It seems that the visibility track on CVolumeGrid objects is being ignored. I animated the visibility attribute, but when I render, these objects are always visible, no matter what value the visibility attribute is.
Can this please be fixed?

Visibility currently works for geometry (surface) only.
In case of VDB (and also volumetric SSS effects) the surface will be affected, but the volume will not.
I will report it as I can imagine the expected behavior is “make the whole object more transparent regardless of what exactly this object is”.
Please also take into account my comment on Renderer for architectural visualization - Corona | Chaos when doing so.
Thanks,
Good Luck
Maru: yup, you summed it up.
Thanks!
