Does anyone know if there is a way to disable that annoying scene converter in Max 2018?
It pops up every tiime I try to drag and drop something into a viewport and freezes the program for many seconds, saves backups files and log files without permission in my projects folder, now it initializes saves every time I paste something from another Max session, merge something or create a ForestPro object. Cant find anything to disable that bugger in the Preferences nor in the .ini file. Really starting to piss me off…
Any ideas guys?
I think there is an option in the scene converter dialogue “Open Scene Converter on file open when missing legacy plugins” and " Automatically remove legacy assets on File Open" , turn both OFF
Already did that, no luck.
I’m starting to think that something happened when I rolled back to 2014.3
Might have to wipe it off and reinstall.
