I NEED HELP
So, i have this problem since i was in middle school and i still don’t know how to fix this. Every time I convert the material / using SSS material, it always creates these black lines on my model.
Anyone know how to fix this??? I use Corona Render 14.
I already tried the method from a discussion that i found but it still didn’t work out.
Go to Corona > Preferences and enable the devel/debug mode.
Then go to Render Settings > Development/Experimental Stuff and check if you have the same options enabled as in the screenshot.
If yes, then can you send us any sample scene? Even something extremely simple where the problem can be seen.
If you could share an example scene here or at https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new we could look into it and provide some insight.
I remember this issue reported in the past (the solution in other renderers is to have a single “group” for all SSS materials). But I couldn’t find the related task in our internal tracker, so I would re-report it.
Just a note, you can open a ticket at https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/new as this has the option to upload the file as part of the ticket form. That way only the Corona support see it, and not everyone using the forum can download it (for when those things can’t be shared with everyone and have to go privately to the support team only).
Using Corona Physical Materials instead of Skin Materials and making sure “use material-based medium resolving” is disabled.
or
Using a single Corona Skin Material and assigning different textures to different polygon selections using the Corona Multi Shader. I am attaching a sample scene.
Thank you so much for all the inputs but i can’t upload the file and try the answers that are given right now, but i will try it later.
I will keep you posted
