I do hope the new OptiX is better than the ChaosGrp denoiser for removing, say, screen burn and dust from my monitor? facepalm #lessonLearned

You should try it in Beta 2 - I think it might leave more noise in other places in the render compared to the V-Ray denoiser, so the real noise on the monitor is harder to see :).
