Finally, finally… with the help of Apiwat the DOF in Vray sketchup has been unlocked. Apiwat allowed me to share in my site his the making of his contemporary kitchen here.Nomeradona SketchUp VR: The Making: Contemporary Kitchen
gReat!
and was that result achieved only with the phisical camera?
i used to understand it in past versions, but then the numbers stoped working, probably because of the changes from one version to the other, i lately i’ve been applying doff effect in photoshop, with the z depth channel, but it’s not as perfect as it used to be with vray.
gotta study this now
sure i will… i have one interior project coming soon, and i’m already hopping i can make some artistic shots using the dof.
thanks for your time.
by the way, how is it going with the camtasia studio?
have you tried it?
i think your blog would become a real gold mine with some of your teachings in video
Hi nomeradona I was looking at your youtube video and noticed that you had a lot of plugins on your top menu bar Im wondering if you could recommend any.
I use a few plugins UVtoolkit, Joint Push and Pull, Fredo Scale and a few others.
hell yeah… it does need a lot of preparation.
although it’s much easier if you use your native language.
i’m a real fan of your tutorials. I´m actually thinking of another in wich i intend to give a quick explanation about the vray settings, but it’s gonna be in spanish hehe.
hey, i think that with all the followers that you have, you could easily find someone who would like to add subtitles
and yep, yo do have a lot of plugins… my interface is much more simple than yours…
1. Tools on Surface and Curviloft by Fredo, I used it often for organic shapes and skinning.
2. Use all the “Extrude Tools” by Tigs. These are a must for me.
3. “Weld” tool by rick wilson to create polylines.
4. Instant roof, instant grade by CHuck Vali
5. “Round Corner” by Fredo. This is a must for me to round my corners before rendering.
6. Shape Bender by Chris Fulmer.
7. Camera extension. THis will create a camera that you can actually measure.. very useful for Vray DOF
8. Projections by D.D Bur. I like this one for curtain and projecting my lines quickly.
