Hi there,
I don’t know if it was mentioned yet, but as described above, if I change the resolution in the commons tab,
the device apect ratio is not calculated - the pixel aspect ratio is changing…
Would be nice if fixed.
Thanks Dominik

Hello,
What version are you using? That was fixed in the mid-June, so you might need an update.
Let me know if your version is newer and you’re still experiencing issues.
Thanks,
Milena
I am using the build from 22nd of june, but I’ll try the newest one tomorrow and let you know
Thanks
Dominik
I just read your description again. I am sorry, I meant the change that was done so the device and pixel aspect affect each other. What you’re experiencing is directly connected with it - the device aspect is locked, only the pixel aspect gets changed with resolution. It is the same as what you will see in Maya with “Maintain Device aspect” setting On.
Hope that explains the issue.
Yes,
I understand that, but it would be cool if it would work, because i type in the device aspect ratio result in the cameras film aspect ratio field. So now i have to
calculate it by myself…
Thanks
Dominik
I believe this is already fixed in the latest nightly builds.
Best regards,
Vlado
Hello,
It should be fixed in the build from July 6th.
Let me know if it doesn’t work as expected.
Thanks,
Milena
Thanks Milena,
it’s working like a charm!
Cheers!
Dominik
Thanks, Dominik, glad to know ![]()
Have a great weekend!
