dispersion and thinfilm support

Hello,

I am not sure if this has been asked before. But is there a plan for dispersion and thin film support?

I have one project where I need to do colorful glasses using either thin film or dispersion. It would be nice if chaos vantage supports that. Client wants to do in realtime rendering.

Hi, thanks for posting. Both of these feature requests are logged in our system (LAV-1242 and LAV-1238 ). I will add your thread to the list of clients wanting these features and raise the priority.

Hi jhjariwala,

You could try to do a thin-film effect using the Siger Thin-film texture which is supported in Vantage.

It is strange siger thin film is not supported in vray gpu renderer but it works in chaos vantage.

Any update on dispersion support for diamonds rendering?

Hi, both features are not ready yet. We can not provide any timeframe on for now but we will notify you when they are released.
