when I use Vray demo version to rendered the Bump map & Displacement map in the same scene. The image I got is not as what manual described. The two rectangular blocks look almost the same. Actually the left one set as Displacement map with multiplier value as 2. The right one set as Bump map with multiplier value as 2 as well. Please advise…

by the way, how can i insert image here? the button above doesn’t really work

This section of the forums is for posting tips and tutorials, not asking for help. If you look at the “Let’s make a rug” thread in the tips, tricks & tutorials subforum you’ll find an excellent guide to setting up Displacement in VfSU.

To attach iamages to posts you have to use an external image host, such as Photobucket or Imageshack and then copy the image link into your post.
