Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has experienced problems with DR slaves not respecting Gamma settings when rendering. My local machine renders buckets that appear correct, but DR slaves render buckets that look blown out. I have went to individual DR slave machines and configured them with the correct gamma settings but they still render blownout buckets. Any feedback is apprectiated.

It’s been a while but I seem to remember having problems on some DR machines with the output bitmap gamma set differently on different machines. Make sure they all match in addition to the actual gamma (i.e. 2.2).
EDIT: Scratch that anyways, the more I think about it my problem was with backburner, not DR.
yeah I made sure they were all set up the same. It seems like it’s only rendering blownout buckets during Ir mapp calculation. When I loaded a previously saved solution it rendered out the final image correctly. Another weird thing is after it rendered that frame I turned off “from file” and set IR map back to “single frame” and now it is rendering the IR map correctly.
One question- Does color mapping and Gamma have any effect on the calculation of the IR map? I am guessing it does’nt. I haven’t let it render past the ir map calclulation so I’m not sure if it renders blown out during IR map calculation and then corrects it self for the final image.
Make sure all your boxes are set to use . not a , for decimal point
Thank you guys for your input. I’m not sure what I did but like I said earlier it seems to be working alright after I loaded and unloaded a previously saved IR map.
