does this hold true when doing liquids in PET bottles?

Remembder seeing this Tut a long time ago, and was wondering does the same hold true when rendering PET/plastic bottles??
(albeit with a much thinner cross section between outer and inner surface)

The correct way to go about answering this question is to simply pick up a plastic bottle with a liquid in it and see if it looks like the liquid goes to to the outside of the plastic (caused by refraction) or is it clearly seperate from the plastic bottle?

From looking in the kitchen quickly I would say you the liquid seems to go right to the edge of the plastic and so the tutorial would apply to PET/plastic bottles.

It’s interesting, I’ve not seen that tutorial or data before, but it makes sense. I learnt something new today!

Cheers, Tom

It’s the way to do anything where you’ve got two see through surfaces that touch with no air gap in the middle!
