Seems I’m in trouble, don’t know what to add, to make this damned door look mmmm better. I was asked to place couple of doors in interior scene, so it can be then showed/printed/etc.
So this is the first time, I’m asking help here ![]()
For me scene kinda empty. What objects (or maybe lighting scheme is in charge) to add for this feeling to go away ?
If the focus of the view is the door then I would have thought zoom in , add some nice ironmongery and that would be it. Adding stuff to the existing image will only take your eye away from the door.
Definately need a door handle there Paul. Maybe a view that isn’t looking dead-on at the door may help.
Nice painting you got on the wall there, is it a Cecil Rice?
Rob.
edit - and zoom in more
hehe yeah a handle would certainly help.
oh yeah.. zoom in more ![]()
means less space to fill in hehe
Hehe-Hehe Door handle
It’s the model, I can’t change. SorryIt was given me, strange, but it’s how I’m workin’… I tried to focus on “door” by smoothing around colors and making some “space” left and right.
heheh you could be cheesy and put but flashy neon arrows point towards to door
Rather interesting the door with no handle tho.. and by the looks of those hinges its not one that swings both ways. ah well… your given what your given.
Me too hate you much
You think it’s final pic ? Right ? Or left ![]()

It’s Aivasovsky (Айвазовский) http://www.centre.smr.ru/win/pics/pic0035/main\_pics.htm
Scale looks bad.
Ceiling is too tall or door is too short. If that is the correct model of the door… then you will have to change the room. Add bigger crown moulding.
But the trim around the door looks too small too. Was this a unit conversion? Sure it is correct?
Assuming it is a double hinged door (extra hinge) would explain the lack of knob, but then the hinges are on the wrong side?
Yep..zoom in more and put the middle hinge in the middle of the door.
Scale… Hm will look into it ![]()
