Download of all the Enscape asset thumbs in PDF's by library category

This is a link to a zip file that contains ALL the thumbnails of the Enscape assets.

Each PDF is one of the Library categories (Accessories, Animals, Construction etc)

The filenames listed in the PDF are the names within the Library so if you find one you/your colleagues like in the PDF you can easily type ‘Desk Lamp 13’ for example in the Asset Lib to get to it quickly.

EDIT: April 2022- Enscape v3.3

All Enscape asset thumbnails as of April 2022 - (Zip file on OneDrive):

I worked out how to extract the thumbnails and then a friend of mine (thanks Joe) automated it so that it processed all of them. I’m not entirely comfortable sharing how I did it as it involves poking around a bit in the Enscape files so please don’t ask

I asked and got permission to post these.

When the Library next gets updated I’ll do the process again … That is unless Enscape themselves come up with a better solution.

Awesome work! Looks like the asset library user feedback is gaining some traction around here. Hope to see some changes in upcoming releases.

Legend - really appreciate this.

That´s really useful, saving a lot of time! Thanks a lot!

thank you so much @Paul_Russam

nice work.

some names, vor Example in the people.pdf are not visible full. the first and last letters are cutted. maybe it could be changed by using smaller fonts

I want friends that can teach the “how to snoop around the files” process - you are #fortunate ~

I was hoping Enscape would have had something “like this” online so I could share it with some colleagues to say “here are the 3D modeled plants I can choose from. Which ones work for you?”

You, my friend, are a lifesaver ~

I’ve updated all the PDF’s for the new/revised assets in V3.2.

This is a link to a zip file that contains 11 pdf’s

I’ll revise the 1st post with the new link.

Thanks, very generous!

Opps, I mucked up the thumbnail printing … new version:

I’ll edit the 2 links above to be the same

… thats so very helpful!!! Thanks a lot!

It’s that time again.

Here’s a link to all the v3.3 asset thumbnails in PDF format:

11 pdf’s in 1 zip - 85Mb

I’ll update the 1st post with this link

hey! thank you, been some time since my last render! been away from the space

Thank you! I can’t upload this query anywhere else other than in conversations but maybe it’s relevant here - I want to specify some lighting similar to one in the asset library - is it a real product? Is there a way of finding out the original specification of the assets or are they not all actual products. Some are recognisable classics but I can’t find these lights anywhere.

Thanks as always for this! @Demian_Gutberlet can we PLEASE simply get the option to download all preview thumbnail inside the Enscape asset browser? As opposed to downloading all full assets.

Sooooooo, for 3.4 the dastardly folks at Enscape have changed the entire format of the Asset library and my regular way of extracting the thumbnails with their library names will no longer work, but … I’ve already worked out the new format being used and with a little help from some coding friends I’m sure I’ll have my pdf’s soon.

This is an old thread and I found a way to extract the thumbnails with the new asset library format, info in this thread: RE: Script to extract every asset thumbnail into category folders for refrence
