Hi,

Is there anyway of holding a local copy of the asset library that just synchronizes with the on-line library? Not sure if its just the fact that I am on the other side of the world but I have to wait for the library to load everytime I open enscape. It is becoming frustrating.

Can there please be an option to download the assets and hold them locally.

Thank you all for the feedback. The ability to generally have our Assets available for download, or our whole Library available offline, is already a feature request on our agenda. This could also very well be implemented with Enscape 2.7, but I cannot make any promises just yet. :wink:

There is currently no way to, for example, download all assets so that they’re available offline. But, you can place down assets in any project of yours and after saving, they’ll actually be available even when your internet connection is cut off. But, keep in mind, only the assets which have been placed in the project while having an active internet connection will be available afterward.

A lot of other programs store the assets locally and only download new stuff when there are updates. Lumion, Skatter…just off the top of my head. Skatter even has a ‘only update program’ option, for quick version updates. Maybe Enscape could have a ‘check for updates’ feature in the asset browser…?

+1 please make this available, the library is growing rapidly and the time you have to wait before your project is opened is growing tremendously.. this is becoming an issue
