Downloaded Enscape appears in SU 2024, but not 2025

Hello!

I need to have two versions of SU on my computer (2024 and 2025) because I teach at a college that will not upgrade the SU version until the end of the school year. When I download the newest version of Enscape, it uninstalled the older version, and then installed the newest version. However, this version only appears as an extension in SU 2024, but not SU 2025. Can you inform me what I need to do?

Since SketchUp 2025 is of course already supported at this point this behavior is not to be expected - You’ve very likely already checked already but perhaps Enscape is already available in SU 2025 but only via the context menu?

Otherwise if there are simply no traces of Enscape in SU 2025 it cannot hurt to try a full clean re-install:

Navigate to Add/Remove programs in Windows.

Uninstall Enscape, the Chaos Unified Login and the Chaos License Server by using the ‘Uninstall’ button

Following the completion of the uninstall, please delete the following directories using Windows File Explorer:

C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Enscape

C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Enscape

C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Temp\Enscape

C:\Program Files\Enscape

and the following file - %localappdata%\Chaos\UnifiedLogin\ula.db

C:\Program Files\Chaos\VRLService

C:\Program Files\Chaos\UnifiedLogin

Afterward please restart your machine, acquire the latest release of Enscape again here thereafter if necessary, and follow the installation process as usual.

Just in case you experience any problems with the license server or similar after installing you may also try the following:

Open the web page http://127.0.0.1:30304/#/ and sign in with the account or email tied to your license.

Should that not help at all we will have to ask for a dedicated support report, which you can simply submit via SketchUp 2024 if Enscape is still available within as before.

I do hope the first steps already help, but please also feel free to let me know in case you’ll have to submit said support report. Thank you in advance!
