Here is an image that I am working on for fun. It’s a downtown loft created using Evermotion furniture. I’m trying to get a dusk feel to it with a sense of warmth. I have yet to add a background and the subtle touches such as drapes and kitchen decor. As of now I have a HDR image as the sky. Let me know what you think. What should I change or work on. I will post settings if need-be. I’d appreciate your comments. Thanks.
I don’t know why the image is showing up so small. It’s rendered out at 1700 X 1100 and photobucket won’t display it any bigger then this.
Good work so far A bit cold expression at the moment. Add some warmth to your light sources…or/and if you use the vrayphysicalcamera, use a warmer white balance setting. Or simply in post use the color balance (Ctrl+B) in photoshop with a slight shift towards red and yellow.
I would maybe choose track-spotlights for the ceiling to make it more interesting, if you choose to show so much of it I mean.
Hahah. Finally after almost 300 views someone responds. I didn’t play around with it too much in PS yet because I still have some work to do on it, but I will adjust the Color Balnce in PS to see what I can get. I’m think about using a Physical Camera and re-rendering in hopes of creating a warmer feeling to the image. Thanks for the comments.
a couple of idea:
- i hope behind the glass is a garden, would give your images allot more detail.
- use a vraysun and let the sun hit the floor, so you will see some nice sunshine ove the floor
- you needs some other color then the darkones you are using. so pick a other colour and try experimenting with the walls, pillows.
- get some plants in your scene.
Good start. I agree with the others comments. The forground needs something. Maybe some kind of furniture configuration. The image is a bit dark as well IMO.
I might switch the colors around completely to brighten the scene up a bit. I had furniture towards the middle of the room in front of the camera but I found it distracting. Maybe it was the arrangement of the furniture. I was thinking of having this loft be on the 60th floor of a residential tower so all you would see is the city below outside the window but now I’m leaning more towards seeing some lawn and maybe a pool out the window panes. I appreciate your comments. Please keep them coming.
if you go with the sunset then you should ballance the exterior lighting with interior lighting. your scene definately needs alot more furniture unless your trying to sell a semi furnished appartment hehe then your bang on
to add realist in a scne. ( i think) we add a lot more details in the windows frame, Add, some switch and plug. You should have a baseboard ( usually 4 inches or less in a loft. Put some Chaos on the chiar. They are too align. In real life nothing is align.
