I’m running VIZ 2006, and trying to set up a distributed rendering network; I’ve done all the steps (create new .ini file, new vraydummy60.max, new vraydummy.xml), but I still can’t get it to work -

When I initiate the render; I get this error box right before it starts:

“File C:\Program Files\Autodesk VIZ 2006\\network\vray_client_scene.max is possibly corrupt. Would you like to try to resave?”

So, I click ‘yes’, and proceed to resave, except that it’s asking me to resave the file I’m trying to render with; essentially overwriting the file…

After I do that, the distributed render slaves still don’t work -

Can someone help me?

I needed to create a ‘network’ folder in the VIZ root directory --
