Work was slow over the summer, so hadn’t used c4d for a couple of months. Got a new project, and now DR refuses to work. The only thing changed is the fibre provider (same router though) osx update to Tahoe and maybe some windows updates.
my set up. Mac studio (Tahoe 26.6.2), c4d v26 (not 2026) vray 7.40.00 (on pc as well). using ipv4 server addresses.
vray standalone is started via shortcut on the pc, with the -server -portNumber=20209
the standalone window opens fine, and says it is ‘waiting for requests on port 20209’.
if I cancel the render on the Mac in c4d, the app crashes, no log or anything.
tearing my hair out here. Any ideas?
interestingly, on v2025 seems to work, so its just r26.
