DR not working - any clues?

this is what I see when DR spawner starts up:

Succesfully loaded the ASGVis distributed rendering slave…Hit Ctrl-C to exit

When I start rendering a scene this is what I see on the slave:

I only installed DR option on the slave. It looks like a license server problem.
Host is winXP x64, client is win XP 32

btw: if I start the rendering on the xp32 system, and take the xp64 as slave, the same error occurs.

Snap! Mine has been this way for ages despite it once working fine.

Can’t wait to have DR working again.

yes, I’ve seen that, but that doesn’t work here. Maybe I’ll have to try to completely remove vray from both computers and do a clean install. But I am a bit hesitant right now, since I am in the middle of a project. Can’t afford no vray at all this weekend…

I had exactly the same behavior, but now it works like a charm!

despite what i wrote in my last post (the link Micha send…) I now think that all you need to do is to manually erase all stuff in the DR Spawner folder after you uninstalled the old version and before you install the new one.
I used to think that it had something to do with the setvrlserver.exe file, but I just tried and changed the license path to another computer without vray and it still works. Initially i did both (deleted all spawner files and set the path in the setvrlserver.exe), so I thought it was the latter one…
