How much memory should a windows system just used as a slave for DR have? How much is necessary?
Also, since the slaves are minimized when running the spawner - is it assumed that the FB is turned off on these slaves automatically?
It is bucket size dependant, so with a smaller computer, I would assume that less memory would work.
well it needs as much as it needs. All depends on what scenes you will be rendering.
Sure i could say 512mb would make the machine run fine and probabaly render alot of your scenes. But if you render alot of big architectual scenes you will probabaly need more… alot more.
It comes down to get as much as you an afford basically.
