DR - Something is wrong

Hi guys, sorry for getting back with this issue but I don’t understand something here… As you can see from my screenshots the DR servers seem to not processing the passes correctly. Now, I don’t know if this is our network problem or Corona’s one.

Here is the scenario:

  • Image sent via Backburner to DR Master PC, in total are used 3 PCs (1 DR Master + DR Slaves)
  • The renders starts successfully and all the machines start calculating the initial pass.
  • After a while the main passes started to be calculated on the DR Master but the DR Slaves are always stopped at the initial pass. (see image: DR_Slave.jpg)
  • In the VFB of the DR Master I see no passes loaded from the DR Servers, after about an hour of processing. (see image: DR_Master.jpg)
  • Opening the Backburner Server app I see errors (see image; Backburner_Errors.jpg)

This is what I was talking about some days ago, at this point, how do we know what the DR Servers exactly do? Are they calculating or not? I think not!

Let me know what do you think…

Thanks,

Dionysios -

hi,
can you send us the file listed in the log error? It would really help us!

Can you give me an email?

Thanks,

Dionysios -

It would be best to report it here: https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new

you can upload here: Chaos

I am compiling a ticket + sent already an email to your support email with the log files.

Thanks!

Ok, did everything!!!

Dionysios -

what I actually need is this file:
C:/Users/DTSAGKAROPOULOS/AppData/Local/CoronaRenderer/dr-exr-fail.exr
not the text log itself

Ok, sorry for this.

I uploaded in Chaos

This should be fixed in the latest daily build (03-20).

Thanks, Ondra wrote today that the DR is not ready yet. So, is the 20/03 build resolved some issues?

yes, it includes all dr fixes

Great! Good to know.
Tomorrow I’ll install and try it right away!

Thank you guys!

Did you have a chance to test the new build? Can you confirm this bug has been fixed?

Tried and everything is fine! CPU usage is 100%,no DR issues at all! Great job my friends!

glad to hear that! how many nodes are you using, and what resolution?

I rendered three images at 3507px and a VR 360 at 8192x8192 with 4 dual Xeon nodes without issues for now…

I am sorry other users still having problems. I am sure you will find out and find out and fix everything at the end!
