Hello guys,
Suddenly my render times increased…I run the benchmark 1.3 and from 05.44 minutes went to 16.15!!!
Can anyone help??? What happened???
most probably either your CPU is overheating and underclocking, or you have something mining bitcoins in the background ![]()
Thank’s Ondra!!!
I have a MACOSX laptop and I also run it on windows,
I run the same test on macosx and the time is normal as it should be…
So its not a overheating problem and I checked cpu function works on 100%
Reinstailing 3dsmax or corona would help? Its a very serious problem affecting my time of work…
it probably won’t help, as benchmark is affected. But it should be easy to debug - see if anything is running in the background hogging CPU
What generation Macbook do you have? If I’m not mistaken, the cooling ‘solution’ for newer Macbooks is to throttle down the CPU rather than have a fan.
MacBook Pro 2014 model
IT doesn’t run anything at backround…only the test…
And I run it on windows and there is the problem…on macosx works fine…
From what I can find it’s a pretty common issue running both Boot Camp and Parallels. Most people seem to attribute it to drivers and/or Apple design. Unfortunately Apple laptops are far from ideal for rendering, especially the newer ones without fans.
Your answer is - APPLE ![]()
