so is this like the hyperthreading on the Intels?..or like actual 2 processors?..I wonder what kind of impact is gonna have for us…

They are two processors in one. You can retrofit your socket 940 Opteron boards with these puppies - bringing your machine to a Quad Processing setup. It’s something to keep in mind if youre going for a new rig.
