I wanted to reach out here to see if anyone else has been hitting a wall trying to renew their student license. I teach here at a local university and have had a few students in my class reach out to get their student licenses renewed and no-one is answering them. Disheartening when they are trying to complete their projects and can’t render them. I recently had my license run out last week and I reached out to get my instructor/educational license renewed to prepare material, and I too have had no response. I’ve had to defer my lectures until this gets resolved. Perhaps there’s a glitch with the recent merge with Chaos?
Any insight would help!

@chris_bullen , we are unfortunately currently behind in terms of student license renewals and providing new licenses to tutors/students as well - I am very sorry about that and can fully understand the frustration, but we are doing our best to still resolve those requests as quickly as possible so that the current long waiting times won’t occur again in the future.
For now, I can only ask for more patience, even though I wish I had more positive news for you at the moment.

While Enscape is the preferred product I push the students to learn we’ve had to switch to D5 in order for the students to get their projects done. I’m hoping the licensing bottleneck issue can get resolved moving forward as Enscape is integral to our program. Last year the students had similar issues but it only took about a week to get resolved. Some students have been waiting weeks with no response this year.
