"EL CORTIJO" WIP

Again “EL CORTIJO” trying to improve some things
Excuse the watermarks but I have found my work plagiarized in some web

C&C are welcome

Saludos

very very nice work
mabe on the second image the shadowed (is it a word) areas are just a bit too dark.

did you use displacment for the floor inside the yard?
for the grass - did you only used displacment or also dis somthing for the edges - Can you share your grass settings?

Very nice work. Lighting quality in the 3rd image in particular
us very good. I feel like I should be wearing some sun glasses when looking at that image.

The only suggestion I have, is to be careful with your mapping of the timber. It looks like either your grain is running the wrong way or the texture is repeating.

how did you do the roof tile…

how did you do the roof tile…

I guess it’s modelled…and no displacement.

Really nice images !
cheers olivierfR

Thank you all for your comments

gilicom: the stones texture of the yard doesn’t have displacement it’s a simply bump map, the grass if that has displacemente map and the values I took like reference the magnificent one post of the sheeps

sunny: you are right I will use and put another map of different wood texture

dellis: the tiles are modeling with autocad, the whole mesh except the vegetation is totally modelled in autocad

oh and by the way, is it not missing some kind of drainage on the roof ??
sorry… in such an image you are looking too much for details !

cheers

Hi oliver

the architect made me remove the drainages because the flight of the roof not requiried it, according to him :frowning:

I don’t understand well that of “too many much details”, why not?
it is still in process and I hope to add him more some details

Wonderful images!
I don’t understand what are these white things under the tiles in the ridges of the roofs!
No entiendo que eso blanco en las cumbreras de los techos!
thanks a lot

I don’t understand well that of “too many much details”, why not?

Hey ReNdEr3D !
I just wanted to say that if you produce such an realistic image, everybody is looking for small things just to be annoying ! (example…drainage..or doors locks missing …) you know what i mean…

But… my experience told me that if you continu to put more and more details…the “client” will also look closer and closer at the image… and starting to be annoying really ! it is a risk to take !

ok for the drainage…in spain it is not so rainy ! but still

cheers
olivierfR

I like the ilumination
is great !!!
some materials looks flats…but…great work !!!

pasate los settings no?
saludos k , bien hecho

Harutium: “white things under the tiles in the ridges of the roofs” in spanish=Hastial.. Globalink english=gable-wall??

Olivier: More and more details are a risk that I assume and an added value that I like to offer to my client  I prefer an inquisitive client and that it returns to one silent and not to return him to never see more

Hi Olivier

to rain won’t rain, but, look how it snows in Granada!

the last rendering looks great

Hey !

the last rendering looks great
what is it ? the new particules system of max 6 or is it just post process !

Ok ReNdEr3D, you are right about details ! if everybody is happy then “c’est le principal”.

bonne nuit
