Emitters dimmed by distance

Hi,

it could be great if the dimming of emitters could be disabled for render/animation output. It’s one of the reasons not to use Enscape.

Here a simple example. It’s a hard problem for my commercial projects where ceiling and wall washers are needed. I can’t sell animation of fly-throughs of a train where the lights are dimmed in the background during the animation. My clients will not understand it.

Render time was 1s per frame and Vram usage was approx. 30%. So, the hardware is no problem.

@Micha We’re aware of this issue and we’ll resolve this behavior as soon as possible. Thanks for the feedback!

Hi to the forum!

I still get this issue, which is very annoying and prevent Enscape from making a realistic image of what I’m trying to render.

The logo is actually the same but based on the distance from the camera, it does not cast light on the blue beam… How can this be fixed?

Hi All,

This still appears to be an issue - illuminated building signage materials do no appear to work at all at distance of approx 15m (ish)

Would be terrific to have an update on progress of resolving and/or a slider to allow user control.

Making multiple actual lights in an array behind building signage isn’t a practicable solution

Thanks in advance 8)
