Is it not working? How do I know if there are problems with it?
Hello, I am not sure why this isn’t working for you. Is the scene not rendering, the EXR file not exporting, or the EXR file not uploading?
After the render, we pick the Cloud button on the VFB, and usually have an upload button, but that button is missing. Even clicking the two buttons you see do nothing. This is across all of our machines. I logged into my home machine, same setup, and it is working fine.
OK, I get it, investigating.
The hotfix has been deployed. Please restart 3ds Max so the latest collaboration integration is picked up, and then try again.
Nothing has changed. I did reboot MAX too.
Any progress? We are relying heavily on this in our pipeline, and we are in a holding pattern.
Still investigating. As a workaround, EXR files for enhancement can be uploaded to Collaboration using a normal web browser. If an EXR file is exported with the layers from VRayEnhancerData ( VRayEnhancerData ), it will be enhanced identically as if it were uploaded from VFB.
I have tried that with 3 EXR files, but there is not an enhance button, so nothing we can do with the renders after we upload them.
The dev team worked things out - it is working again!
