Hi I have an issue with Xrev Transmit fatal erroring (is that a word?) when Enscape version 2.1.0.5 or higher is installed.
If I uninstall Enscape Xrev will work fine.
I understand Xrev has contacted Enscape but thought I would contact directly to see if there is any progress?
It looks like we are having the same issue…
Xrev Transmit is failing to export any drawings since upgrading to Enscape 2.1, would be great to see a solution to this as I don’t particularly want to revert to prior versions of Enscape as the last series of updates were great!
Cheers,
Richard
@mark.silcock , @Richard_Pulford We are working on the issue. I might come back to you with a version to test.
Thanks Simon,
Happy to test a version when it is ready.
Cheers,
Richard
Hi there,
I’m having the same issue.
It is pretty annoying we have to uninstall Enscape in order to issue drawings.
Please solve this ASAP.
Enrico
@Simon_Weinberger testing now, initial runs are looking promising will run a few more times and in different versions to check all possibilities.
Thanks for the speedy response.
We came across same issue when we were trailing Enscape 2.1.
As soon as its resolved we will purchase the product.
Is it likely to be a while before a new release that works with Xrev?
Enscape is working on a fix. Also apparently Autodesk have discovered the cause as well and Revit 2019 will be fixed.
Fixed in 2.1.3.0
The fix will also be included in the next preview version, but I’m not sure when this will be.
Wait hold on, I came here for some respite from my (Xrev) crashing woes… you mean to say this a thing???
EDIT Simon, when you say “fixed in 2.1.3.0” we’re presently on 2.1.0.53-g5c33a65, but if I click “Check for new version” it says I’m updated?
As above posters, lovely as Enscape is, Xrev beats it into a bloody pulp productivity wise so we might be forced to uninstall it temporarily.
Pretty sure 2.1.3 has not been released yet, hold tight!
So to confirm, we could/should rollback to… pre 2.1.0.5x? Will need to see if I stashed the .exe - or are they available still somewhere?
Click “Visit download area” in the about window. There you will find version 2.1.3.0
I’m not happy myself with the situation concerning update notifications. If we send update notifications, there will also be users who complain about it - and if we don’t send update notifications some users don’t see the updates.
I’d be happy to swap the office-wide balloon/toast/pop-ups for a single email.
Okay so going for a manual* push on 2.1.3 at lunchtime - but with that in mind, my IT peeps queried if you can/do provide .msi so they might better automate fixes/updates?
I am also getting this issue, but with some projects, not all. But for those that it does affect, Xrev always crashes on the first sheet.
Have uninstalled Enscape and Xrev works fine now.
I hope there will be a resolution soon.
@anthonyb Are you using Enscape version 2.1.3.0? You can find it at the download site.

Hi we are still getting this issue Enscape 2.1.3.0 in 3D views
if you happen to have a 3d or camera view open when you print using xrev it will crash. all other views OK so no need to uninstall xrev or enscape.
Just checking in to see where things have moved on this - I’m neither IT nor bug tester - and presently (only) running Xrev 3.4.13.
Where are the downloads again? I used to just check for updates when I had Enscape installed…
