Before today, Enscape could be accessed through a local license server without a Chaos account. Today when users tried to access the Enscape Asset Library, it redirected them to the web browser login page for Chaos. After signing in with an unlicensed account the asset library worked properly within Enscape and Revit. Why would a sign in be required when the account that signs in is not where the license is located?
The license server itself needs to be signed in, so if a user sees a prompt, it is actually asking for that because an account is not signed into the local license server or enscape isn’t being served a license.
In most cases, when the user signs in to cosmos,enscape,envision OR the license server they are automatically signed in to all of the other softwares/services.
However a user doesn’t need to be signed into cosmos or the enscape interface to obtain licenses providing their local license server is functioning correctly.
