Hello everyone, today I just upgraded my RTX2060 old GPU to a new RTX3070. Just switched the cards as the Nvidia drivers should not have problems after doing this, tested the new GPU with some videogames and no problems at all, (even had a 2hr gaming session and no issues, using RTX on). Then after making sure it was working I decided to test it on Escape(Revit 2021,2022,2023), short story was that every time I opened the Enscape window it would get stuck when showing the logo, in fact it would actually freeze my pc at the point I had to force my pc off manually. After this I tried everything: installing the latest Nvidia drivers and same result, uninstalling all GPU drivers from my pc then installing drivers again, same result. Rebooted PC many many times and still crashing.
Finally I decided to turn off the “Hardware-accelerated Ray-Tracing” option from Enscape General Settings then It finally worked, but with the obvious visual downgrade which is extremely frustrating because my old GPU used to have these options turned on worked just fine and now with my “better” GPU the visual quality is worse than before!. Please let me know how to solve this, I would greatly appreciate any solutions, thank you in advance!
