We’re excited to announce the release of Envision 1.8, bringing new ways to manipulate, explore, and present your scenes, along with improvements across the Envision experience.
What’s new
Explore your designs with the new Section Tool
Create and adjust plane and box section cuts directly in the viewport. Explore interiors, reveal what’s inside your model, and even use dynamic section cuts in animations — all without modifying your source geometry.
Move & Rotate with one gizmo
We’ve redesigned the object manipulation gizmo to combine Move and Rotate in a single tool, making everyday scene editing more straightforward.
A unified AI entry point
A new central entry point brings Envision’s existing AI-powered capabilities together, making them easier to discover while keeping the workflows you already know.
A streamlined Object List
Filtering in the Object List has been redesigned with a cleaner, more scalable experience for managing current and future object types.
Safer reference removal
Envision now warns you when removing a reference whose materials are still being used by other objects in your scene.
This release also includes a range of fixes and stability improvements to make Envision more reliable and enjoyable to use.
