We just released our latest version Enscape for Mac 4.17.0
Improvements- Light Management: Improved light clustering behavior in orthographic view, ensuring lights group and separate more predictably when zooming and navigating the scene.
- Visual Settings: Presets panel is now expanded by default.
Fixed Bugs- Cloud Licensing: Fixed Cloud licensing reliability in secured corporate networks, reducing connection issues when obtaining a license.
- SketchUp: Fixed an issue where Enscape would temporarily show duplicates of entities that didn’t actually exist.
- SketchUp: Fixed a case where wrong textures were shown with materials upgraded from SketchUp 2024 to 2025 and newer.
- SketchUp: Fixed a bug that would cause batch rendering of panoramas to fail.
- View Management: Allow for the update of the name to be properly executed before we save.
- Renderer: Fixed a very rare freeze when opening another Enscape window while the main Enscape window is loading.
- Renderer: Fixed grass disappearing while still being in viewport.
- Renderer: Reduced aggressive Level of detail for smaller globe plant assets.
- Renderer: Missing grass in captures in case multiple, large surfaces with grass material were stacked on top of each other.
- Renderer: Fixed light reflection visibility not handling clearcoat materials.
- Renderer: Fixed an issue where the sky can appear pixelated in video previews and exports.
- Renderer: Fixed disappearing Billboard geometry when camera moved very close.
- Asset Library: Improved performance when placing assets in old asset placement modes.
- Material Editor: Fixed feedback button in the AI Material Generator not working.
- V-Ray Scene export: Enscape produced large V-Ray scene files due to duplicating the geometry of asset instances.
- Asset Library: Fixed Enscape hanging on shutdown when assets were still selected.
- Licensing: Updated License overlays for Error -200.
Known Issues- Vectorworks: A problem where self-referencing design layers are not rendering assets.
- Asset Library: Enscape could freeze when repeatedly pressing the Asset Library hotkey.
- Light Management - Archicad: In Archicad, changing a light name will not update it in the Light Management window. On restart of Enscape, the new name will be shown.
