The house consists of three volumes with a common, gently sloping hip roof with generous eaves in all directions. The framework of the house is made out of wood, also containing a few steel components. The material palette thoroughly consists of wood, with natural larch and dark stained fir externally.

The starting-point has been to create a generous house in close contact with nature in all directions, with grand spaces inside but giving a humble impression from the outside. The roof eaves provide shade and creates a low visual expression with extended horizontal lines.

Hi Sang,

I like the atmosphere in your image 2, but it has some general flaws you could easily fix to make it better.

First of all, the perspective should be from eye level (like the other one) and remember to use ‘two-point perspective’.

The picture is very close to be in center, which is a bit annoying :wink: If you move or scale the texture on the terrace you could really emphasize the composition and the architectural language of the house.

And finally, I really miss to see life in this pictures. I’m not convinced by the aesthetics of the architecture, I want to see people living there so that I can see myself there.

What a keen eye! I love this scene but you’re right, I think a few people enjoying the sun would bring more life into it.

I really like the color palette in this project, and the moodiness that it transmits. Great job, Sang!
