In an effort to “turn off” lighting for a scene, I set the luminosity for all spotlights in a scene to 0. It appears this has made the lights disappear as they do not appear in the scene in Sketchup or in the Outliner. Is there a way to get them back or do I have to recreate all of them?
Would like to get an answer on this before recreating all of my lighting. Could someone approve the post?
@dsturnerville , thanks for your posts, welcome to our forum. ![]()
Please open your “Enscape Objects” window, select the components in your project which are named “Enscape.Light”, so for example, Enscape.PointLight and afterward you should be able to increase their light intensity again.
In the future, you can instead make use of the “Artificial Light Brightness” slider which you can find in the Enscape “Advanced” tab. ![]()
The problem I have is all of the components no longer appear in the scene or in the Sketchup outliner so there is nothing to select. It is as if setting the luminosity to zero deleted the components. It is an entire room, so it seems very unlikely I inadvertently deleted every component.
Hey @dsturnerville , you should still be able to find the lights in the SketchUp “Components” section:
Now, open the Enscape Objects window then head back to any light in the “Components” section → Right click → “Select instances” → Now the light should be configurable again via the Enscape Objects window because it has been selected this way. ![]()
