Enscape Load Error

Recently upgraded to a floating license - but the Enscape window won’t load on the second computer (works like a dream on the first computer). All we see is a small Enscape menu bar that “freezes” and requires a Revit restart - screenshot attached.

We have attempted a computer reboot, downloading the most recent Enscape release, and opening multiple models.

Would love some suggestions on how to get Enscape working on our shared license.

@SQArch , welcome to our Forum.

If the mentioned second computer supports our requirements (still), then please make sure that the GPU drivers on that machine are also up to date - Should that not do the trick, then the quickest way to further troubleshoot this is to receive a feedback report which you can submit via the dedicated Feedback button.

Through the logs/machine information, we can then look into this problem further. Feel free to let me know once you’ve sent it in. Thanks in advance!

Thanks! Will check those out.

I’m also getting a Enscape load error, although not sure if it’s similar to the issue above. When I load Enscape from SketchUp it loads the Enscape splash screen and gets stuck on the loading splash screen. I looked at the LogFiles and it says it’s a Vulkan error →
vk::createInstanceUnique: ErrorIncompatibleDriver

Please help.

You can also make sure that your GPU drivers are up to date, and/or that your machine supports our requirements in the first place - If that doesn’t help, please also submit us a Feedback report with your logs so that we can further look into this. Thanks a lot in advance.

Well, this was an interesting turn of events. First thing I checked was the system “Device Manager”: Turns out that my computer manufacturer neglected to include the discrete graphics card in the final build… needless to say, I’m dealing with that issue now and will get Enscape up and running soon after. We probably would have gone for months without noticing except that Enscape won’t open without it.

I am glad you found out, and no wonder that Enscape did not run properly of course - Hopefully, you’re able to receive your dedicated GPU soon. Do you know which graphics card, in general, was supposed to ship with the machine?

The quoted hardware was: NVIDIA® RTX™ T1200, 4 GB GDDR6
