I have an issue I cant figure out, maybe someone can help.
In my main Rhino model, I have inserted as a link only another file (to keep model size low). The linked Rhino model has Enscape materials assigned when I open it as standalone, but in the main host file they are shown as “Custom” materials, losing all the properties, textures and all…
Anyone has any idea what might be causing this? Or how to fix it?

Enscape doesn’t support work-session for rhino
But it’s not really a work session, is it? I simply inserted a file as a block, without the work session command. But I guess the logic is the same and Enscape wont recognize the linked materials.
I didn’t notice that, Blocks and work session are different and it seems that Enscape doesn’t support any of them?
Well it doesn’t work as before anymore. I make extensive use of linked models with their materials in it and it did work fine before. Now it seems to drop the ball mostly on this. I hope that this workflow can be restored.
Also texture files seem to get lost sometimes.
