# Enscape Not Recognizing Skp materials

Hello,

After installing the new update, the Enscape Materials browser won’t open if I have Sketchup materials selected. If I manage to open it, says the materials are not in the model (see sample attached). So, I can’t edit any material attributes. I’ve tried this with multiple models and materials - no dice. Any help would be great, as I’m under the gun on a few renderings. Thanks!

Hey @Eli_2 , in that case, could you please **completely reinstall Enscape** accordingly, as this may very well already help with resolving this behavior at hand. In case it doesn’t, could you kindly send in a feedback report as described [here](https://enscape3d.com/knowledgebase/using-the-feedback-button/)? That would be very helpful for us to further troubleshoot the cause behind this issue.
