Has anyone had any issues with Enscape freezing while screen-sharing on Zoom? Tried a few settings changes to both after googling potential solutions. Wondering if it’s an Enscape bug or a Zoom issue.
Whilst not specifically Enscape, I have trouble screen-sharing a similar rendering app in Teams.
What I’ve found is that it comes down to your graphics hardware, essentially you’re trying to view your model in real-time at 30/60/whatever fps AND broadcast it at 30/60/whatever fps, it can be too much for even a moderately powerful GPU.
As a test, try turning some stuff off, such as vegetation.
Thanks Paul! We use NVIDIA graphics, and have been using Enscape on Zoom for years, and it only now started giving us issues. Saw that it might be because of a Zoom update, so having video on and screen-sharing is the issue so working through that.
