I am unable to use Enscape at all and every time I try to start it I get this error notification “Enscape Renderer Error”.
Does anyone know why this is happening and if there’s a fix or it?
All drivers, software, and updates are up to date.
Here are the specs for my machine:
NVIDIA GeForce 940MX
Processor Intel Core i7-7500U
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)
Windows 10 with 64-bit os
Revit 2022
Enscape 3.0
Welcome to our Forum @A_Chand , thanks for the report.
If such error messages occur please always just click the first button or simply send us a feedback report with your log files manually:
https://enscape3d.com/community/blog/knowledgebase/using-the-feedback-button/
In this case, simply click “Close Enscape send and Feedback” aka the first button and you will receive a reply to your issue with a potential solution from my team as quickly as possible.
Until then, can you click “Ignore this error and continue.” or does that lead to crashes as well? Have you acquired the latest drivers from the NVIDIA homepage directly as well? And finally, is your windows up to date? If not, please also make sure it is by installing all the mandatory new windows drivers.
Hello,
I have the latest drivers and updates installed for my computer. I have already sent feedback to Enscape with no solutions yet. When I click ignore and continue both enscape and revit crash.
GeForce 940MX is a mobile GPU launched in 2016 w 2gb ram. Suspect you’re running out of memory. Suggest:
Hello,
I have already installed the latest drivers from NVIDIA. How would I reset my visual settings to default and how do I change my capture settings?
Hello, I am having this same problem. My graphics drivers have been updated. I cannot send the error report (see attached) It reads “not responding” as soon as I type my name. How was this resolved?
Hi @AngelaG17 and welcome to our Forum.
In order to get behind this issue, could you instead please manually send us the necessary log files, you’ll find them here:
Enscape main plugin log files:
C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Enscape\Data\Logs
Revit plugin log files:
C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Temp\Enscape\Logs\EnscapeRevitPlugin
You can just place all the files that are contained in these folders into a .zip file and send these directly to briefly elaborating on your issue once again alongside. My team will then happily get back to you in order to find a solution to both the crashing and Feedback dialogue freezing.
Hi Angela - the same error can result from different issues. Have you confirmed your computer supports Enscape? What kind of Graphic Card do you have?
Hi,
Same issue here appeared two days ago with Revit 2022. It was perfectly working one or two weeks ago.
The Graphic Card is an Nvidia Quadro P4000 (driver updated), so this might not be the issue. Plus it’s still perfectly working with Sketchup.
I updated Enscape (after facing this problem) to a newer beta, without any change.
The last change that occured on the computer was an update of windows 10, but I’m not sure this could be related.
I sent the log files to the Enscape support as suggested by Demian (the “send report” option is also crashing Revit here).
King regards
