Hi, I’m wondering why the enscape forum image uploads only allows a max of 10mb, and I know that I can compress my images, but it then loses its quality and color.
A forum meant specifically for images should be upgraded to way more than 10mb limit

Images below 10MB should still look really decent but, I can understand your point as well - We’re currently in the process of improving the backend behind our system to allow for faster image loading because some users experienced issues with that. Afterward, we can look into the cap again accordingly. Also, what is the usual resolution you’re exporting your renderings with?
@Demian_Gutberlet Glad you’re improving your servers! I was going to say high res images are great, when they load. I’ve encountered problems seeing images in this forum numerous times. I think it’s fine to include high resolution images, but only as linked images, they should not be loaded by default on a website. It’s terribly slow, and often I will click away from the post before all the images are loaded when they’re at full res and taking forever to load. Let me see a preview first, and then I can decide if I want to see higher resolution detail. I don’t think the high resolution is adding as much as you might think it is.
How exactly does resolution affect color reproduction? You can save as jpeg with minimal (effectively imperceptible) loss - there’s absolutely no advantage to posting full resolution PNG files to a website.
I reckon he means compression, not the resolution itself - I agree with you though, color-wise there should not be any (visible/noticeable) differences either way (especially not at 10MB used for a rendering) - @JN_INTERIORS , if you have any examples/comparisons though feel free to share them. Just to make sure we’re not missing sometimes.
