Hi everyone, I’m having trouble when staring Enscape, it sends this error: currentUnitTypeId after loading for a while, then it freezes when sending the report. I have tried reinstalling, updating and choosing only my dedicated graphics card, also the troubleshooting page doesn’t work. What else can I do?
Thank you @soph , and I appreciate that you’ve sent in the reports accordingly which actually reached us. You might’ve already seen the response via e-mail from my colleague to kindly update your graphics card drivers first thing, more details are mentioned in his reply. If you still experience this or any further issues simply get back to us accordingly.
If you receive the same error dialogue, please also try updating your graphics card drivers. We cannot say whether this helped @soph as she hasn’t gotten back to us just yet, but it should be worth a try especially if you cannot recall updating them anytime recently. Make sure to also acquire the latest available drivers from their respective AMD or NVIDIA homepage depending on your card.
Should that make no difference, or you’re not entirely sure what your graphics card is or if it requires any updates, please kindly submit a feedback report as detailed here:
Hi again, I updated the graphics card as told from the official NVIDIA site, rebooted and tried opening Enscape and it still shows the same error… it stops loading the bar and sends that error. After sending the report it freezes and I have to close the program using the task manager.
Please make sure to also update our technical support team via your existing case (via e-mail), so that we can troubleshoot this further. Thanks a lot in advance.
Meanwhile if you really seem to experience the exact same problem, maybe the following helps which we have sent to the previous user in this thread ( @calem ):
“Apparently, there is a problem with a library/family (specific family name removed for confidentially) that causes issues in the render process as the currentUnitTypeId is not a unit identifier. You might be able to circumvent that by making sure that in the V/G > Imported Categories > Imports in Families is indeed turned on.”
Should this not solve the issue (or you are not sure which library/family is affected), then please send in that report as mentioned and we will be able to assist you further.
Please kindly also submit a feedback report with logs to our technical support team as detailed here so that we can troubleshoot the exact cause behind this further.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and feel free to let me know once said report has been submitted as well.
If you haven’t yet, to identify the exact cause behind this issue as well please also submit a report to our support team as detailed here. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
