Enscape sloooows Sketchup 2022 to a Crawl

Took me a while to figure this out, but when working with a 42mb file in SU 2022 Pro the model itself works lightning fast with edits.

However, the moment I run an Enscape render, the SU model itself crawls during any kind of edits. To the point where when I make a single action - no matter what the action - I have to wait about 2-3 seconds before it will execute. It’s a massive problem when trying to edit, especially when you’re doing really basic actions like opening and closing groups.

I’ve got the Live Updates feature turned off of course. What else could Enscape be doing to actively drag down the SU model itself?

Whenever you experience any such issues you can also simply submit us a feedback report with logs - It’s never easy or quite possible often to troubleshoot such a behavior without said report.

Meanwhile you can also try disabling raytracing as this may help:
