I had a trial a few months ago and I see now there’s a whole new 4.0 version. I tried getting a new trial but it is not letting me. Is there anyway I can get the trial extended so I can try out 4.0?

It’s not a problem to renew your trial so you can try 4.0 as well for another 14 days, though we do not process trial reset requests via the Forum anymore so please briefly reach out to our support team as detailed here in case you haven’t yet.
