Enscape window opens then crashes while exporting

Hi, I’ve been having a several issues lately with Enscape.

A couple of weeks ago, I finally got it to work, so it was working fine for the past week.

On a side note, I’m not sure if this is related or not, but when I restarted my computer today, I got a message that I need to install/update .net.

I ignored this message initially, I opened Rhino and tried to run Enscape with a simple geometry. The Enscape window opened, then it shut down while/after exporting the geometry.

So I installed .net, just in case the issue was because of that, but still the same problem.

Any idea what the issue might be? I could send a ticket to Enscape but last time after a few trials of fixing the issue via exchanges of messages, I got a response that I just have to deal with it my own, which was very disappointing… I had fixed the problem myself at that time, but running into another issue again is very frustrating…

In this case please be so kind as to either “re-submit” this issue/these issues to our official support team (through either way as detailed here), or reply back via the existing case of yours (from January 23, 2025) for further assistance.

Especially since you mention that you were able to resolve this behavior previously on your own, please ideally forward us a dedicated support report including new log files as detailed here and we’ll be able to look into this issue for troubleshooting once more. We previously sent you further detailed steps on how to potentially resolve this given that it seems to have been an issue related to Windows itself, hence why we had to ask for your cooperation.
