Error when starting Enscape in PORTUGUESE / ITALIAN

When trying to open Enscape after the 4.0 update I encounter the following error:

I will include the log file.

I ask you to help me solve it, the only version that is working is 4.00.299, none after this I can make it work.

Unfortunately you have encountered a bug in our latest release. This affects Enscape if it is installed in Italian or Portuguese.

The current workaround is to change your language to English (or any other supported language which is not Italian or Portuguese). Since you will not be able to do this via the General Settings, we have put together instructions on how to do this manually:

  • Close your CAD program
  • Open the Windows Explorer and navigate to the following folder location: *%userprofile%\Documents\Enscape\Settings*
  • In this folder you will see a file called “settings.json” - right click on this file, and open it using a text editor like Notepad
  • When the file is open in Notepad, look for the “Language” setting, and change the “Value” underneath it from “it” or “pt-BR” to “en-US”
  • Save the file

Now when you open your CAD program, Enscape will be installed in English and you will be able to use all of the functions normally.

Our developers are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it in our next service pack. We will reach out to you once this issue is resolve so that you can re-install Enscape in the language of your choice.

Acabei de instalar a nova versão no Enscape porem ela não funciona

Just a brief heads up as I promised to get back to you once this is resolved: You can now acquire our latest installer again (which has the latest hotfix applied now) in order to use Enscape in Portuguese / Italian again. :slight_smile:

Let us know if you experience any further problems what so ever of course.
