Export image sequence of frame range?

I am using Chaos Player to export out a sequence of images to be used as a image sequence in a Vray texture. It works very well.

But how can I set just a certain range of frames to be exported? I set the frame range in the timeline, but it always exports out the whole video clip. I only need the first 400 frames and not the 3200 frames or so in the videoclip.

Could it be that the Export Layer functionality should respect the number of frames I have set in the timeline?

What am I missing?

“Export Layer” always exports everything for the selected layer, yes.
You’ll need to set the timeline size to 400 and then do “Export Composition”.
